In a planning meeting on Wednesday the City Commission discussed the in-house property tax billing and collection structure and decided that the City Clerk would also act at the City’s Tax Commissioner. This requires no change in the City’s ordinance. The City will also hire a Tax Collection specialist who will come on board spring of 2018.
