Nine people were charged yesterday with conspiracy to possess and distribute methamphetamine in Brantley, Ware, Clayton and Wayne counties. Robert Ira Anderson, Charles W. Merkle, Grover W. Herrin, James Robbin Belch, Kenneth Jerome Williams, Karen Moody and Lemuel Glenn Henderson, appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Stan Baker in Brunswick. Anthony Joseph Parse and Susan Anderson are still being sought. Seven of those indicted are from Brantley County. Charges include conspiracy to possess and distribute more than 50 grams of methamphetamine.
