Brunswick House Fire Displaces Eight

A house fire late Monday night in the 1500 block of Albany Street caused about $10,000 damage to the structure before Brunswick firefighters could bring it under control. According to the Fire Department, the fire started near the home’s back door and was reported at 10:42 p.m. Firefighters arrived and had it under control within eight minutes. The Red Cross was called to assist the five adults and three children who were living at the house. The home had a working smoke detector inside.
