After 35 years, organizers of the Kingsland Catfish Festival have decided they are tired of competing with Mother Nature and decided to move the festival to November. Between the threat of hurricanes, which forced the festival to be rescheduled in 2005 and again last year; and high temperatures common around Labor Day weekend, organizers decided to make a permanent change to November. With plenty of time to prepare for the event that will be held on November 18, organizers feel they will be able to attract a large number of vendors.
