Girls of Summer Program to Kick Off at CCGA

Over the next four weeks more than 80 girls from Glynn and McIntosh counties will explore the areas of mathematics, language arts, and reading in the inaugural Girls of Summer Program at the College of Coastal Georgia. The girls will participate in extracurricular activities, including workshops and field trips. The free academic program is funded by the Minority Outreach Program and focuses on challenging rising sixth and seventh grade girls to reach new levels of academic excellence and to pursue careers in the STEM fields.
