The snake-bit joint water, sewer and storm drainage project that has been underway in downtown Brunswick along Mansfield St. since June, 2015 has an end in sight - this September. City engineer Garrow Alberson and Brunswick-Glynn Joint Water and Sewer officials met with the contractor recently to set the timeline. The contractor, J.H. Stone, was warned that he may be nearing default on the contract. The delay was due to unforeseen infrastructure issues under ground and the contractor’s difficulty maintaining an adequate crew.
