EPA's Terry Creek Decision Leaves Many Unhappy

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced an Interim Record of Decision for the Terry Creek Dredge Spoil Ditch / Hercules outfall site in Brunswick yesterday. Local environmentalists are calling the remedy a cover up, not a clean up. This particular remedy, recommended by the EPA during an August 2015 town hall meeting, was rejected by members of the public who asked for a more thorough cleanup of the toxaphene contaminated area.
