The Brunswick Glynn Joint Water and Sewer Commission awarded a contract to T.B. Landmark last Thursday which executive director Jimmy Junkin described as the first step in a vital project. Landmark will route sewer pipe from the pump station on U.S. 17 south of Belle Point directly to Academy Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant on U.S. Highway 341 near downtown Brunswick. The project will eliminate a pump station upgrade and alleviate the bottleneck in the sewer system north of Belle Point.
