Georgia Power will begin demolition of the Coal Fired Power Plant building at Plant McManus Saturdaymorning at 9:00. Pettigrew, Inc. will implode the building and wants to warn the public that the implosion will be loud. A safety zone has been established at the Company’s perimeter fence to provide public safety. The public will not be allowed beyond this fence. The Glynn County Fire Department will have equipment on site for any safety issues.
