Counterfeiter Pleads Guilty

Kasean Tillman pled guilty in U.S. District Court in Brunswick on Friday to one count of counterfeiting $100 bills. His co-defendant, Cyril Eversley, is scheduled to make his plea on June 19. The two were allegedly using bleached one dollar bills to make the $100s. A Secret Service agent testified that his office routinely receives counterfeit bills and had worked this case for about a year. They finally happened upon a St. Simons Island restaurant at which Tillman was identified as the person who passed the counterfeit bill.
