Glynn Academy Junior Gabi Dawes is one of two students left in a nationwide search for a spokesperson for the Algy Team Collection, a national store for color guard and other band equipment. Dawes is the captain of Glynn Academy’s color guard and submitted her application on a whim. The contest is vote-driven, and votes can be cast by liking and sharing Dawe’s’s video on Algy Team’s YouTube channel or by ‘liking’ the post on the store’s Instagram. Competing against a student in Miami, If she wins Dawes will be the spokesperson for the next year.
