This afternoon a crash claimed the life of Anne D. Aldridge of Darien. Ms. Aldridge was driving southbound on Highway 17 near Needwokd when a dump truck driven by James Kicklighter, Jr. crossed the center line and struck the Jeep. Ms. Aldridge died at the scene.
