An educational litter-prevention project sponsored by Lea King-Badyna and Keep Golden Isles Beautiful will be featured on the PBS program “Hometown,” at 8:00 Thursday night on WJCT-TV. The program features wire-mesh sculptures of different coastal creatures that were filled them trash picked up around the county. The sculptures have been installed in Glynn’s public parks. The idea is to show people how much litter winds up in the marshes and other environmentally sensitive areas.
