John Ohman, chairman of the Glynn County Animal Control Advisory Board asked the county commission to reduce the number of Advisory Board members from 9 to 7. Ohman suggested eliminating two of the citizen appointees and replacing the Humane Society’s appointee with the Animal Shelter Director. The commission is expected to take up the issue at an April meeting. Ohman also expressed concern that his board has made a number of recommendations to the county but never received a response
