Glynn County Police investigating yesterday morning's home invasion on Green Swamp Road have determined that 32-year-old John Henry White, arrested for burglary in the first degree, was unaware the home was occupied when he broke in. As the break-in occurred, the victim hid in a bedroom and called police. When the burglar left, the resident of the home recognized him and alerted police. Police arriving on the scene stopped him in his vehicle as he fled. A passenger in the vehicle wasn't charged and all stolen property was recovered.
