Brunswick High School will operate on a half-day schedule today to allow basketball fans time to travel to Athens for the state championship game at 8 p.m. tonight. Students will be dismissed at 12:10 p.m.following the normal first lunch period. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all students and bus transportation will operate on a half-day schedule. Arrangements will be made for students in special programs and school staff will notify parents of those students individually.All other schools will be on a normal schedule today. Tomorrow will be a normal school day for all schools including Brunswick High. BHS students who are absent on Friday can have that absence excused by presenting a ticket stub from the championship game.
