A sub-contractor on the City’s Mansfield St. storm drain project recently walked off the job due to a disagreement with the general contractor, J.H. Stone Construction Co. According to City Engineer Garrow Alberson a week to a week and a half has been lost on the project due to the walk-off. However Stone Construction started work again yesterday. In addition to the storm drain work Stone will clear up some of the debris from the area. Alberson is waiting for a project schedule update from Stone.
