At around 10:30 this morning a 16-year-old Glynn Academy student was identified as the person who carved a threatening message into the stall door in a bathroom int he science building. The student's guardian came to the school and took custody of him. The student is suspended pending a tribunal hearing, and will likely be charged with several violations of the law in Glynn County Juvenile Court.
The threat was taken seriously by law enforcement and the student body alike and as a result there was a significant number of absences today.
