Old Jesup Road near High Hill Lakes is currently closed off due to an explosion in a mobile home that now sees the home in a fully-involved fire. The home was located at 2060 Old Jesup Rd.
Scanner traffic indicates a witness told police they saw someone drive away from the mobile home at a high rate of speed. Neighbors said the. Vehicle ran people off the road as it departed. Shortly thereafter, the home exploded. Authorities are not sure yet if anyone was inside the home as they wrestle with the fire.
Witnesses reported hearing four gunshots around the mobile home last night about midnight.
Police are looking for multi-colored gray car with a license plate that started with the letter B. The arson investigator has been brought in.
