A multi-agency pursuit of a stolen vehicle has resulted in a code red lockdown at Glynn Academy this afternoon. Officers with Brunswick Police, Glynn County Police, and the Glynn County Sheriff's Office were pursuing a stolen vehicle with several individuals inside. The individuals abandoned the car near Glynnvilla Apartments and fled on foot. Due to Glynnvilla's proximity to the Glynn campus, the administration at the school decided a code red lockdown was warranted until the situation could become clearer.
The all clear has been given and the Glynn Academy campus; the lockdown is over.
