A small plane crash on St Simons this morning, killing the pilot. The are currently no known passengers of the vehicle, which also has not been identified. The plane went nearly straight down in Sinclair Plantation off of Lawrence Road. Authorities are unsure whether the plane was leaving from the airport here or arriving, as there was not enough of the plane remaining to make an immediate identification.
