Glynn Passes Further Restrictions

Here’s a summary of the resolution passed by the county commission today:

Non-essential personal services- Barbers, Waxing, Nail salons, etc.will he closed.

Swimming pools open under approval from the department of health will be closed.

Indoor recreation and fitness facilities. Gyms, theaters, etc. closed.

Glynn County owned fields, courts, playgrounds, picnic areas closed. Dog parks, walking trails, marinas and campgrounds still open.

All special event permits through April 13th. Fees will be refunded.

Restaurants will not be allowed to serve food on premises. Take out or delivery only

If you are taking out, you can buy unopened bottles of beer and wine, but they cannot be delivered. Nursing homes, hospitals exempt from take-out only rule.

Lounges, nightclubs, and bars are closed.

Essential businesses open. But restrictions on groups and social distancing must be enforced.

Deadlines for Glynn County business licenses and alcohol permits extended. All deadlines for any action, determination or decision required by any official, board or commission concerning the Glynn County code of ordinances, zoning ordinance or Glynn County subdivision regulations shall be delayed for the duration of the order and for 30 days following the expiration of the order.
