Guns and Drug Bust in Touchstone Ridge

GUNS, DRUGS, AND STOLEN PROPERTY SEIZED DURING SEARCH WARRANT EXECUTION

Monday, August 6, 2018, investigators with the Glynn-Brunswick Narcotics Enforcement Team (G-B NET) executed a search warrant at a residence at 305 Broccoli Drive in the Touchstone Ridge subdivision. 

The search warrant was the result of a long-term narcotics investigation with the United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF). During the execution of the search warrant, investigators seized a large amount of methamphetamine and nine guns, one of which was stolen earlier this year in Glynn County. 

Investigators also seized several items that are known to have been stolen or suspected to have been stolen. The Criminal Investigations Division is currently combing through the items seized to locate therightful owners.

As a result of the investigation thus far, the following people have been arrested:

Charles Walrath, AKA “Boomer”, 47 year-old Glynn County resident – 4 counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, 1 count of Possession of a Sawed Off Shotgun,1 count of Trafficking Methamphetamine, and 1 count of Sale of MethamphetamineAirica Petters, 

39 year-old Glynn County resident – 1 count of Possession ofMethamphetamine with the Intent to Distribute

Lauren Hinson, 19 year-old Glynn County resident – 1 count of Theft by Receiving Stolen Property.
