Police Investigate Sunday Shooting

From the Glynn County Police...

On Sunday, April 29, 2018, at about 5:00 AM, the Glynn County Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 100 block of Jessica Lane. Officers arrived on scene to find the residence shot multiple times. The victims, Thomas Jones and Laura Pina, stated three males came to their residence over a dispute about money. When Thomas and Pina would not let the men inside, they began shooting into the residence. 

The men then fled the scene in a vehicle.The Glynn County Police Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team executed a search warrant just before noon on Sunday at a residence on Easy Street in connection with this incident. 38-year-old Glynn County resident Thong Huyns and 35-year-old Glynn County resident Anh Nguyen were arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault. Additional charges may be forthcoming.

Police are still looking for 36-year-old Glynn County resident David Tran. He has active arrest warrants for Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime. Tran is described as an Asian male, 5’07” in height and weighing 130 pounds. He has short black hair, brown eyes, and a goatee. Tran is homeless and is known to frequent the Altama Avenue area.
