Meth Bust on I95

Glynn County Police along with Brunswick Police, the Sheriff’s department and GBNet arrested two people for drug trafficking after a traffic stop on I-95 yesterday afternoon. The car was stopped about 1:15 pm for speeding by Glynn County Officer James Lightsey who, based on the demeanor of the people in the car, called for a canine officer. Officer Anthony Browning’s dog Grey immediately alerted on the car which led to the discovery of 14 pounds of suspected methamphetamine in the car and a small amount of cocaine on the female passenger. 47 year old Alberto Arroyo and 44 year old Adriana Delacruz, both Texas residents, were arrested for trafficking in suspected methamphetamine. Delacruz was also arrested for suspected cocaine possession. The two were taken to the Glynn County jail.
