Monday afternoon around 3:30 a drug deal went wrong on Mansfield Street, according to Brunswick Police, and a man was shot in the chest. He received treatment at Southeast Georgia Health System and was transferred to a hospital in Savannah where he remains in very serious condition. While the Brunswick police have several potential suspects, they ask that anyone with information call Silent Witness at 912-267-5516. According to police, these were adults, not students, involved in the drug deal.
