A new 208 room hotel is coming to Jekyll Island on the site where the Ramada Inn once stood, The new facility is a joint venture and will be two hotels in one, combining Courtyard by Marriott and Residence Inn. The dual-branded hotel will have 90 Residence Inn rooms and 118 Courtyard rooms, with shared common amenities. Hotel construction is slated to start in September 2018 with a completion date expected for spring of 2020. It will fill the last hotel lot that can currently be redeveloped on Jekyll.
