Schools Opt to Not Make Up Days

After a 20-minute discussion last night, during which a proposal was presented to show how the days of school lost to Hurricane Irma could be made up, the Glynn County Board of Education voted 4-2 last night to not make those days up. The school system lost 6 days this year to Irma. The board made the same decision last year when 8 days were lost to Hurricane Matthew.
