Health System Announces Limited Services
BRUNSWICK, Georgia: September 8, 2017 8 a.m.. – Hurricane Irma expected to impact southeast Georgia late Sunday, Sept. 10 through Monday, Sept. 11. Due to the anticipated weather conditions, and for the safety of patients and team members, the following Southeast Georgia Health System services and practices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 11.

Limited Inpatient and Emergency Care will continue on the Brunswick and Camden campuses, however, elective surgeries are postponed Friday-Tuesday. The Health System will stay in communication with the Glynn County Emergency Management Agency to monitor weather and revise Health System services as necessary.
As a reminder, Southeast Georgia Health System is not an evacuation or Special Needs Shelter. Glynn County has established a Special Needs Shelter to provide for citizens with certain medical problems during a major emergency.
