A man who was shot in the leg showed up at the emergency room Sunday night, claiming to have been driven there by his friend Mario in his girlfriend's Chevy Impala. However, when police checked the vehicle, the girlfriend said SHE had driven it to the hospital and that she didn't know who Mario was or who had driven her boyfriend to the hospital. Police didn't see any indication someone who'd been shot had been inside the car. The victim, identified as Rashad, couldn't exactly verify at which convenience store on 341 he was shot while pumping gas, and no one at any convenience store int eh are could verify his story. Police are still investigating, but don't have much to go on. And they still don't know who Mario is.
