The softball field at the new Glynn Academy Lanier Blvd. athletic facility will be ready for play by August 1according to school officials. The rest of the complex, a practice football field, track, baseball field with seating, concession stand, dressing rooms, bathrooms and parking, are expected to be open by December 1. The only available public parking for softball games during construction will be temporary access through the players and coaches parking lot. The school system administration is working on additional temporary softball parking.
