Glynn County has changed fuel vendors after their previous vendor tried to increase the fuel cost last October during Hurricane Matthew. The county declined to pay the inflated prices, instead sticking to the price agreed on in the original contract. The vendor terminated the contract on May 1. Yesterday the county finance committee voted 2-1 to recommend that the county piggyback on a State of Florida cooperative bid contract for Bulk Fuel Delivery Service.
