A man and a woman who were caught on a security camera attacking Jeanette Norris, the owner of the Baxley Quik Chik, and her 15 year old daughter have turned themselves in to Baxley Police. 45-year old Eric Smith and 28-year old LaTasha Smith have been facing assault warrants since the June 22 attack. The Smiths are now in the Appling County Jail after turning themselves in Wednesday in Bryan County. Police, sheriff’s deputies, and the U.S. Marshals have been searching for the pair since the attack happened. The video received widespread media exposure.
