The Brunswick City Commission approved their FY 2017-2018 budget which included increased revenues from a garbage rate increase from the current $15.75 per month to $21.30 per month. The revenues were included to keep up with rising costs for trash pickup. The rate increase will be considered when the garbage contractor is chosen. Three bids were received for the garbage pickup contract.
