All of the new 16 inch sewer line connecting Lift Station 2032 on the north end of St. Simons to the sewer treatment plant has been installed. The drill rig equipment will be demobilized by the end of the day tomorrow. Currently the Joint Water and Sewer Commission’s contractor, T B Landmark, is making the tie-ins at the line’s 10 connection points. The completion date in 200-day contract is July 22 and JWSC officials say the project is on track to be done by or before the deadline.
