The Georgia Senate is expected to pass a record state budget bill for fiscal year 2018 that includes 2 percent pay raises for 200,000 Georgia teachers and state employees, $1 billion in new construction and $485,000 so Senate committee meetings can be streamed over the internet. The Senate has resisted streaming their meetings up to now.
