A boil water advisory was issued by the Joint Water Sewer Commission yesterday for the 1200 to 1300 block of Newcastle St. from Monck St. to Howe St. The city’s contractor J.H. Stone was in the process of installing utilities in the Mansfield St. area and hit an 8 inch water main. The repair was made immediately and the boil water advisory is expected to be lifted at noon today.
